Role Highlights:

  • Design, build and maintain end-to-end data & reporting solutions on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI for both external clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, KPI, Master Data, IROps, IT, BI Systems teams.

Client-Focused Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain custom report automation (scheduled refreshes, subscriptions, parameterized reports, etc.).
  • Design tailor-made dashboards and reports in Microsoft Fabric & Power BI based on business requirements.
  • Integrate data from structured and unstructured data sources and various databases.
  • Design and implement data pipelines in Fabric (ETL/ELT), including data ingestion, transformation and loading, data lake / data warehouse setup, and semantic model creation for Power BI.
  • Ensure end-to-end reliability, performance, and documentation for client solutions.

Internal Stakeholder Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve department dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Handle ad hoc analyses and deliver actionable insights to business users.

Platform, Governance & Automation:

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, monitoring and documentation across all solutions.
  • Apply governance and cost optimization principles on Fabric capacities and workspaces.
  • Automate recurring tasks using Python, Fabric pipelines/notebooks, Power BI subscriptions, Power Automate, etc.
  • Work with version control (Git) and deployment pipelines (dev/test/prod) for Power BI / Fabric.

Unique Strengths You Bring to the Table:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in BI Development, Data Engineering, or similar data-focused roles within software, technology, SaaS or data services environments.
  • Business fluency in English (speaking and writing).
  • Bachelors degree (BSc) in a relevant field.
  • Strong SQL skills (querying, joins, aggregations, window functions, performance basics) and comfortable working directly with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL). 
  • Understanding of database schemas, indexes, relationships, keys and how they impact reporting.
  • Hands-on experience building solutions in Microsoft Fabric (data lake/warehouse, pipelines, notebooks) and strong Power BI experience (Desktop & Service, DAX, data modeling, row-level security), including the ability to design and implement semantic models optimized for reporting and performance.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python for data preparation, automation and integration, including experience with Pandas (ideally PySpark / Spark) for data transformation and the ability to structure reusable scripts/notebooks for pipelines and analysis.
  • Solid understanding of dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas, fact & dimension design) and ability to design, build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines with hands-on experience in ETL/ELT workflows (ingestion, transformation, loading into a warehouse or lakehouse).
  • Experience defining and implementing data quality checks (validations, completeness, consistency) and ability to set up basic data monitoring & alerts for critical pipelines and datasets.
  • Strong experience with Git (branching, merge requests, code review) and familiarity with Power BI / Fabric deployment pipelines (dev/test/prod) or similar CI/CD practices.
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, comfortable communicating with external clients and managing expectations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and explain technical topics in simple terms.

Would Be Nice If You Have:

  • Have knowledge of ISO 27001:2022 and act as required by these systems. (*)
  • Power Automate and Power Apps experience for automating workflows and building simple apps.
  • Experience using Microsoft Copilot (Power BI / Fabric / M365) for accelerating analysis & reporting.
  • Familiarity with LLM-based assistants or MS Data Agent for analytics workflows.

(*): Vispera will provide relevant trainings, in case of a need if the personnel havent got these trainings, after the recruitment within 3 months.
