Job Description:
As a Ground Staff and Ticketing, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to passengers and ensuring smooth operations at the airport. Your main duties will include:
- Greeting and assisting passengers at check-in counters, boarding gates, and baggage claim areas
- Issuing tickets, making reservations, and handling payments
- Checking and tagging baggage
- Providing information and assistance to passengers regarding flight schedules, delays, and other inquiries
- Ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations
- Collaborating with other airport staff and airline personnel to ensure timely departures and arrivals
- Handling special requests and accommodations for passengers with disabilities or special needs
- Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills
- Fluency in English and Hindi is required, knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy baggage when needed
