JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an amazing, data-driven Sales and Operations Manager to own and enforce the overall sales process and to provide sales reporting metrics to the Sales Managers. You will work closely with Senior Management, the Sales team as well as the wider business stakeholders to ensure process adoption. You will constantly seek ways to optimize and automate scalable sales processes that ensure best practices in lead generation and database management. You will also conduct complex data analyses that will be used to inform strategic decisions by stakeholders from across the company. 

You will work closely with the CEO and regional sales managers to define annual goals and implement processes and reports to track ongoing progress against these. You will be responsible for the team’s sales support technology stack and work closely with the CEO and sales managers to develop and implement effective sales compensation programs.

You will also work closely with the CEO, CMO and wider marketing team. The primary focus of marketing is around lead generation and supporting sales success. Hence marketing needs to be closely aligned with sales in order to provide effective sales support. You will be responsible for working closely with the Marketing team and Marketing Operations to ensure the smooth flow of process and data across the divisions.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

  • Ensuring accurate, real-time visibility of the sales team’s performance.
  • Comparing individual performances within a sales team.
  • Review forecasting to ensure the targets are realistic and that progress to achieving these are clearly visible.
  • Working with the CEO and Sales Management to create a compensation plan to align with the overall business objectives, then effectively explain and communicate the compensation implications sales objectives to the sales team.
  • Maintaining the CRM and other sales tools.
  • Overall responsibility for the quality of the data in SFC.
  • Being responsible for the quality and integrity of the data in the technology stack.
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations to ensure there is closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize performance.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of big data analysis.
  • Strong team player, able to work with diverse teams and personalities to ensure optimization of the responsibilities defined above.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Expert level experience for at least 5 years with Salesforce (SFC admin certified).

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Proven success in contributing to the overall company sales success.
  • Deep understanding of sales and marketing automation software.
  • Significant experience in implementing best practice sales processes.
  • Proven ability to enforce the defined processes.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a Senior Sales Operations role.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in managing compensation plans.
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes.
  • Demonstrated data analytics ability to critically look at performance data and draw constructive conclusions from the results.
  • Regularly produce and present reports. This includes taking responsibility for all marketing initiatives and campaigns with defined success criteria and then implementing reporting to track the evolution of the success to identify the marketing campaigns which deliver the best returns.
