JOB OVERVIEW:

An experienced and forward-thinking AI Developer is sought to join a remote-first team. This role is focused on designing and building intelligent automation solutions and AI-powered bots that improve efficiency and enhance digital processes across business functions. The ideal candidate will be a strong developer with deep practical knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation frameworks. FinTech industry experience will be considered a strong advantage.


DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement AI-powered bots and automation solutions tailored to business requirements.
  • Build intelligent agents capable of handling tasks such as customer engagement, data processing, system monitoring, or workflow automation.
  • Collaborate with AI Engineers and DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of bots within the wider infrastructure.
  • Develop robust and scalable codebases for automated systems using AI/ML algorithms.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, large language models, and natural language processing tools as required.
  • Conduct performance testing, validation, and iteration to ensure bots operate reliably and efficiently in production environments.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI, automation, and intelligent agent development.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Strong proficiency in Python, with experience using AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, spaCy, Hugging Face, or OpenAI APIs.
  • Solid experience in building bots or virtual agents for specific use cases (e.g. task automation, customer service, workflow triggers).
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP), chatbot frameworks (e.g. Rasa, Dialogflow), and LLMs (e.g. GPT-based models).
  • Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and backend systems integration.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and AI design patterns.
  • Experience working with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Comfortable working in Agile development environments and remote teams.
    

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
    • Relevant AI certifications are advantageous (e.g. TensorFlow Developer Certificate, OpenAI certification, Microsoft AI Engineer).
      

    • EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Minimum of 4 years experience as an AI Developer, Software Developer (AI-focused), or in a similar automation development role.
    • Demonstrated experience building production-grade bots or intelligent automation solutions.
      

    ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:

    • Experience in the FinTech industry or with financial datasets and automation use cases.
    • Knowledge of robotic process automation (RPA) tools (e.g. UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
    • Experience in developing task-specific agents such as financial assistants, fraud detection bots, or automated reporting tools.
    • Familiarity with MLOps or version control for AI-driven applications.
