JOB OVERVIEW:

As a Functional IT Consultant, your role centers on understanding clients' business needs and advising on the strategic use of IT solutions. You contribute to the design and implementation of functional system architectures, collaborating closely with clients to optimise workflows and enhance efficiency. Your expertise extends to configuring and customizing software solutions, ensuring seamless integration and ongoing support for optimal functionality

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Knowledge and experience in the field of retail, POS, or merchandise management is an advantage
• Good knowledge of the operating systems in Windows and Linux environments
• Technical understanding of industry standards network infrastructure, and technical solutions

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Degree in (business) information technology or similar

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 1-3 years of professional experience in the IT environment 
• Experience in Cloud Technologies will be an added advantage
• Basic knowledge of databases in SQL and Oracle environments
• Experience in Java-based solutions will be an added advantage.
• Willing to travel nationally and internationally.
