JOB OVERVIEW:

The Product Sales Representative is responsible for the sales plan and coordination of sales activities for a data management solution product. Build a leads list, drive leads, and create opportunities for the product team to assist with pre-sales and product specialist knowledge.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

  • Work closely with the product team members to ensure understanding of the product, its capabilities/features, customer benefits, costs, and process of Deployment.
  • Assists the Marketing Manager in developing sales and marketing collateral for the product for your benefit, the customer's benefit, and potential future Partner sales benefit.
  • Develop the product sales plan for new and existing customers.
  • Develop leads and convert them into new business opportunities.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the customer's business requirements and the product and how the product can enhance the customer's needs.
  • Coordinate sales meetings with customers and engage the product team members for detailed pre-sales.
  • Manages customer-related documentation and administration during the Sales process.
  • Manages the end-to-end sales cycle.
  • Uses customer feedback for developing future-oriented sales plans.
  • Manages and reports on product sales activities.
  • Support the Sales Director with any other Sales-related activities.
  • This role reports to the Sales Director.
  • This role has no direct reports.

  • Valid South African Driver's license and own vehicle.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Tertiary qualification (certificate, diploma or degree) in the Sales or Marketing, or Information technology field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a Sales role selling software products.
