Job Description:

Job Summary:

Completes work assignments by applying up-to-date knowledge in Oracle HCM Cloud Benefits, functional subject area, and system capabilities to meet deadlines, follow procedures and policies, and apply data and resources to support projects or initiatives. Collaborates with Product leaders, solution architects, and other team members to ensure successful delivery of software solutions that support employee benefits administration, enrolment, eligibility, and compliance for our business clients.

Responsibilities:

  • As part of the IT Engineering job family, this position is responsible for leveraging DEVOPS, and both Waterfall and Agile practices, to design, develop, configure, test, and deliver resilient, secure, multi-channel, high-volume, high-transaction, on/off-premises, cloud-based Oracle HCM Benefits solutions
  • Provides insight into recommendations for technical solutions that meet design and functional needs specific to Benefits administration, including eligibility rules, plan configuration, and life event processing.
  • Translates business requirements and functional specifications into physical program designs, module configuration, stable application systems, and software solutions by partnering with Business Analysts, Product Leaders, Solution Architects, and other team members.
  • Assists in the build and configuration of changes and system enhancements related to Benefits plans, rates, coverage levels, and enrollment flows; migrates changes and provides post-implementation support of business software solutions.
  • Develops and executes unit testing to identify application errors and ensure Benefits software solutions meet functional specifications and compliance standards
  • Supports component integration testing (CIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Benefits-related initiatives by providing triage, attending test team meetings, keeping the QC up to date, performing fixes and unit testing, and supporting the development of proper documentation.
  • Performs application development, configuration, or modification of integrated Benefits solutions within Oracle HCM Cloud by designing and coding component-based applications using appropriate tools and languages.
  • Participates in aspects of the software development lifecycle phases by applying an understanding of company methodology, policies, standards, and internal and external controls.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience working in HR Technology modules of Core HR and Benefits
  • Minimum two (2) years experience with Oracle HCM Cloud tools such as HCM Fast Formula (for eligibility and rates), HCM Extract, HDL, Oracle BI Publisher, and Approval workflow development
  • Minimum two (2) years experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of Benefits solutions applying development life cycles (e.g., SDLC)
  • Three (3) years of experience working in Oracle HCM Cloud Benefits system functional/configuration knowledge including plan setup, enrollment processing, and life event handling
  • Three (3) years of experience in application development in Oracle HCM Cloud
  • Three (3) years experience in the customization, configuration, and/or implementation of Oracle HCM Benefits in an enterprise environment
  • Strong communication skills and results-driven approach on engagements
