Job Description

EWM Technical Consultant with ABAP skills for designing developing and implementing solutions within SAP Extended Warehouse Management EWM using the ABAP programming language This includes customizing EWM processes developing custom reports and integrating EWM with other SAP systems

Key Responsibilities

Configure and customize EWM parameters settings and processes to meet specific client needs

Develop and maintain ABAP programs for EWM including enhancements user exits and custom reports

Develop interfaces and integrations between EWM and other SAP modules eg FICO MM SD and thirdparty systems using technologies like IDocs qRFCs BAPIs and Web Services

Develop and modify Radio Frequency RF screens for warehouse operations using tools like ITS Mobile or SAP GUI for HTML

Develop and enhance custom ABAP programs specific to SAP EWM

Work on RF framework enhancements and screen modifications

Implement and support EWM specific objects like warehouse monitor methods queues and MFS Material Flow System interfaces

Troubleshoot technical issues in EWM processes identify performance bottlenecks and optimize code

Participate in unit integration and user acceptance testing to ensure EWM functionality and performance

Maintain technical documentation for EWM configurations customizations and ABAP code

Collaborate with functional consultants business users and other technical teams to deliver EWM solutions

Skills and Experience

Strong understanding of EWM processes functionality and best practices

Proficiency in ABAP programming including object-oriented ABAP and EWM specific classes interfaces

Experience with integration technologies like IDocs qRFCs BAPIs and Web Services

Experience with developing RF screens using ITS Mobile or SAP GUI for HTML

Strong debugging skills for EWM processes and the ability to identify and resolve technical issues

Experience in various testing methodologies unit integration user acceptance
