About the Role

We are seeking a Specialist - Architecture with strong experience in Adobe AEM development, Java/J2EE, web technologies, and enterprise integrations. The role involves designing and developing AEM solutions, building integrations, troubleshooting critical issues, and collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment and adapting to evolving technologies and platforms.

Job Description

The position focuses on hands-on AEM development and architecture, including the design and implementation of components, templates, dialogs, widgets, workflows, and integrations. The candidate will work with Apache Sling, Apache Felix, Java/J2EE, RESTful web services, and microservices to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

The role also involves understanding requirements, preparing solution designs, developing prototypes and PoCs, and coordinating with development teams. The candidate will support content and asset migration discussions, troubleshoot production issues, and work with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth project operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and clarify requirements with clients and stakeholders.
• Design AEM-based solutions and coordinate implementation with the development team.
• Develop AEM components, templates, integrations, and related functionality.
• Build and consume RESTful web services and microservices for API communication.
• Configure and integrate AEM templates, dialogs, widgets, workflows, and other platform features.
• Debug and resolve critical application and user-reported issues.
• Support content and asset migration discussions and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Create prototypes and PoCs and contribute to effort estimation and team planning.

Required Skills

• Adobe AEM development and debugging with 5+ years of experience.
• Java, J2EE, Servlets, HTL/Sightly, and enterprise Java frameworks.
• HTML5, CSS, XML, JavaScript, and client/server-side scripting.
• Apache Sling and Apache Felix fundamentals.
• AEM templates, components, dialogs, widgets, and workflows.
• RESTful web services and microservices/API consumption.
• Integration patterns involving Coveo Search and Commerce platforms.
• SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to estimate project effort and define teams with appropriate skills.
• Strong communication, teamwork, result orientation, and adaptability to technology changes.

Preferred / Good to Have

• Integration experience with e-commerce systems and Coveo Search.
• Experience with multinational, multibrand platform implementations.
• CMS integration with external Marketing, CRM, e-commerce, or portal applications.
• Experience implementing or consuming web services.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and experience with Adobe Managed Services.

Mandatory Skills
