About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Specialist - Architecture with strong expertise in cloud release engineering, Azure/AWS, CI/CD, and Terraform. The role focuses on automating and governing cloud application releases, maintaining infrastructure consistency, and ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing deployments. The position also involves collaboration with development, QA, operations, infrastructure, and security teams.

Job Description

The role is responsible for managing the deployment, release, and maintenance of cloud-based applications and services across Azure and AWS. The candidate will design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines with appropriate security and quality controls, while improving pipeline performance and observability.

The position also involves provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. The engineer will support deployment strategies such as blue-green and canary releases, maintain release governance and documentation, and help prevent infrastructure drift.

At the senior level, the role includes mentoring engineers, contributing to global cloud architecture initiatives, and identifying opportunities to improve release processes through automation and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines with security and quality gates.
• Monitor pipeline health and improve performance through automation and observability tools.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and IaC.
• Implement blue-green or canary deployment strategies for critical applications.
• Lead cloud release execution while ensuring security, compliance, and code quality.
• Maintain release documentation, versioning, and governance practices.
• Collaborate with development, QA, operations, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cloud architecture initiatives.
