MACHINE ATTENDANT - PRODUCTION

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Reporting to the assistant production manager.
2. Receive instructions from the lead operator.
3. Receive and confirm material from bending as indicated in the daily schedule by the assistant production manager.
4. Assist machine operators in the operation of machinery and carry out production as per provided production schedule
5. Prepare the daily report and submit to the assistant production manager
6. In case of shifts, submit the shift handover report to the next shift and make sure there is a smooth transition between the shifts
7. Together with operators, Conduct regular checks on the machinery and tools to make sure there are no unforeseen issues with the equipment and reduce chances of unexpected breakdowns
8. Report any machine breakdowns to the assistant production manager for maintenance
9. Any other duty may be assigned.
10. Understand the specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading programs, mechanical drawings, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

• DRIVING LICENCE / KCSE CERTIFICATE
