Genesys Cloud Software Engineer | International Projects

At Vortech PCI Group, we are looking for a Genesys Cloud Software Engineer to join our team and work on international projects within modern and collaborative environments.

This role focuses on designing, developing, and integrating solutions within a cloud contact center platform, with strong involvement in Genesys Cloud and omnichannel integrations.

This is a hands-on engineering role, focused on development and integration — not a support or purely configurational position.

Your role

You will be part of an international engineering team, collaborating with Product Owners, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient contact center solutions.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain customer experience flows using Genesys Cloud Architect
• Design and implement solutions using Genesys Cloud (and optionally Genesys Engage)
• Build integrations using APIs, Data Actions, and event-based services
• Implement routing logic and automation based on business and real-time data
• Contribute to omnichannel solutions (voice, chat, email)
• Integrate Genesys Cloud with CRM and external systems
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure platform stability
• Contribute to technical design and solution architecture

What we are looking for

We are looking for engineers with real experience building solutions within Genesys Cloud environments.

Must have:

• Hands-on experience with Genesys Cloud (PureCloud)
• Experience building Architect flows
• Experience with API integrations (REST, web services)
• Experience with Data Actions or similar integration mechanisms
• Background in development or scripting (JavaScript, Python, or similar)
• Experience working in complex contact center environments

Nice to have

• Experience with Genesys Engage (on-premise)
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures
• Experience with bots or conversational AI
• Experience integrating with Salesforce, Dynamics or similar CRM
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS is a plus)
