Trading Analyst

Our client is an investment division within a multinational corporation is expanding its trading and research team in Hong Kong. They are seeking exceptional researchers with expertise in both fundamental and quantitative analysis, across commodities, equities, and alternative assets, to join our investment team composed of elite talent from top-tier trading houses.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and formulate trading ideas based on market analysis
• Provide market insights and analytical support to management for strategic decision-making
• Assist in the execution of trades across various markets (futures, options, and derivatives).
• Monitor positions and contribute to real-time P&L and exposure tracking.
• Support pre- and post-trade analysis, reconciliation, and risk simulations.
• Stay current on macroeconomic developments and commodity-specific news.
• Help improve execution tools and internal processes.
• Work closely with traders on strategy implementation and trade idea evaluation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, or a related field, Minor in Computer Science/IT is a plus
• relevant business experience, with Prior experience in equities/ commodities trading or related operations
• Solid understanding of macroeconomic and microeconomic concepts
• Familiarity with derivatives markets and their applications
• Analytical and quantitative skills with coding knowledge for quantitative/macro research
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate effectively across departments
