Test Assistant Manager – Philippines

We are looking for a motivated and technically strong Test Assistant Manager to join our manufacturing operations in the Philippines. This role is ideal for candidates from Malaysia who are open to relocation and eager to grow within an international manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or test engineering (EMS / electronics industry preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, troubleshooting, and manufacturing test processes.
• Open to Malaysian candidates willing to work in the Philippines.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and track all assembly machines, test equipment, fixtures, and related spare parts, including documentation and drawings.
• Support maintenance activities and provide cost-effective solutions to reduce machine downtime and breakdown impact.
• Ensure all machines, fixtures, and test systems are maintained with strong safety awareness and compliance.
• Perform troubleshooting on electrical and electronic systems, including PLC-based equipment.
• Develop and improve test scripts and support test system development and validation.
• Lead root cause analysis for product and test failures and implement corrective actions.
• Support production in resolving technical test issues to ensure smooth manufacturing flow.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve test yield and efficiency.
