Injection Moulding Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary technical liaison with customers after project handover from the Marketing team.
• Coordinate new project activities from tooling trial to mass production and ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor new tooling trials, sample submissions, and engineering changes to meet customer requirements.
• Conduct fit and function testing, review measurement results, and prepare customer submission documents.
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce cycle time, and minimize rejection rates.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, yield reports, and tooling improvement reports.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, and other departments to ensure successful project implementation.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Polymer Engineering, Plastic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project engineering within the plastic injection moulding manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge of injection moulding processes, and new product introduction (NPI).
• Able to read engineering drawings and operate basic measuring equipment such as Vernier Caliper, Optical Scope, and CMM.
• Willingness to work in Senai, Johor.
