Tool Setter (Metal Stamping)

Job Requirements:

• SPM or equivalent professional experience.
• 3 years of working experience (preferred).
• Experience working as a tool setter.

Job Responsibilities:

• Machine setup and alignment: Mount, align, and secure tools, dies, and fixtures on production machines such as presses.
• Machine adjustment: Set machine parameters like speed, depth, feed rate, and angles according to production plans.
• Quality inspection: Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to check workpieces for accuracy.
• First-piece and ongoing checks: Perform first-piece inspections and monitor machine operations to identify defects or malfunctions during production.
• Machine maintenance: Carry out daily maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and checking coolant levels.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and fix machine issues or out-of-tolerance conditions by making necessary adjustments.
• Collaboration: Work with production planning to ensure efficient machine setup according to the production schedule.
