Sourcing Asst Manager

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Assistant Manager to join our team. As a Sourcing Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for developing new suppliers, defining supplier strategies, analyzing price proposals, and designing specialist strategies to procure commodities in regional and global markets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new suppliers with quality and engineering departments.
• Define supplier strategies to achieve business goals.
• Analyze price proposals and terms to determine reasonable pricing.
• Design specialist strategies to procure commodities in regional and global markets.
• Commodity sourcing and understanding manufacturing processes.
• Develop a sourcing strategy based on business goals.
• Analyze and understand commodity market trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cost drivers and supply base for the assigned commodities.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the sourcing field is required for this position.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Supply Chain/Sourcing/Purchasing or equivalent.
• Willingness to work in Senai, Johor area.
