We are seeking a highly motivated Business Manager to contribute to the profitable sales volume and meet the strategic targets of our subsidiary company, Guardian South East Asia (GSEA) / V.S. Integrated Management Sdn. Bhd. (VSIM). As a subsidiary of V.S. Industry Berhad (VSI), a leading integrated electronics manufacturing services provider with 37 years of industry experience, GSEA / VSIM is well-positioned to support the transportation industry in Malaysia and Singapore.


  • Respond to new enquiries and referrals from prospective clients
  • Conduct sales presentations and prepare detailed proposals/quotes depending on each customer's requirements
  • Create and maintain accurate and detailed information relevant to each customer for the purpose of conducting analysis that influences deal-closure decision-making
  • Analyse, understand and recommend solutions that improve customers' business processes and increase their productivity, as well as for targeted industry requirements
  • Effectively and timely communicate customers' requirements to the internal team by understanding and complying with all internal processes
  • Ensure profitable sales volume and strategic objective targets are met
  • Increase customer awareness and satisfaction by building a strong relationship with customers and attending targeted events
  • Handle related duties as necessary for the proper management of pipelines, accounts and duties assigned

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Candidate must possess a Degree / Diploma in Sales, Business Management, or any other related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in account management or sales
  • Excellent proposal writing, project management, and presentation skills to customers at the senior management level
  • Good analytical skills for a comprehensive understanding of what is required to develop and maintain the most valuable customer relationships and translate them into practical solutions
  • Self-motivated to work towards clearly defined targets as well as able to analyse, identify and explain any variance from targets
  • Disciplined time management and ability to work under pressure independently
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills for planning, following and ensuring compliance with operational processes
  • Highly developed social, interpersonal and communication skills for the management of customer relationships and all stakeholders
