Production Supervisor - Metal Stamping

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a production team consisting of skilled operators to meet the department's output, quality and cycle time targets.
• Manages the WIP across Frontend, Backend and operations to ensure smooth material flow.
• Plan daily shift objectives and goals as part of productivity and continuous improvement.
• Communicate handing/taking over duties/issues between shifts.
• Communicating and liaise with Management, Planning, Engineering, Techinical team on daily production issues.
• Nurture operators' career development through coaching and on-the-job training.
• Create and maintain a harmonious and safe working environment that instills teamwork, commitment and ownership in the team.
• Work to create a culture of learning and sharing of Best Known Methods to simplify procedures and process flows.

Job Requirements:

• SPM/diploma,equivalent professional experience.
• 10 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO document control ( ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22301, ISO 45001, ISO 27001 ).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required (Metal stamping, fabrication, or fastener manufacturing preferred).
• Previous experience with standard shop tools and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges,etc) required.
• Mechanical aptitude and previous experience troubleshooting machinery required.
• Ability to use material handling equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
