PLACEMENT ENGLISH TEACHER FOR JULY- SEPTEMBER 2024

1. Position: ESL/Math/Science teacher (Will be classified)
2. Reporting to: Director of Education/ assigned Head of Teacher/ School
Principal/HR Department
3. Scope of works
To teach English/Math/Science (Will be classified) for students from kids to
adults according to assignment from employers (Be classified the student group
before having official offers via email)
To prepare lessons, lesson plans and suitable teaching materials for class
activities including setting up clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects
and inform those objectives to students.
To perform active, suitable and student center teaching approaches to create a
loving learning environment in class and to meet students' various needs,
abilities, and interests.
To pay attention to performance of each individual student and provide
suggestions for improvement or further development monthly and every 3
months if needed.
To give marks and brief written assessment for students progress based on
his/her daily/weekly performance and for students scheduled exams during the
course (if any).
To do other duties related to teaching profession such as assigning homework,
correcting homework, writing student assessments and reports, marking
students exams
To prepare and take part in events during the whole school year, such as: Mid-
autumn festival, Christmas, Lunar New Year... if being required by Employers.
To do other duties assigned by schools.
4. Teaching duration: 9-month (at least)

5. Working place: Ho Chi Minh City/Hanoi/Danang (Will be classified before
having an interview with employers)
6. Working hours: Based on Centers schedule; 1-day off per week at least
7. Benefits:
350,000 VND/hour, at least 80 hours/month OR $1,420 gross per month with
25 teaching hours/week
For extra hours, teachers will receive 400,000 VND/hour or 16$/hour (gross)
for extra
Accommodation & transportation: will be provided by employers or have an
allowance 2 million VND/month for these expenses. Teacher will be required
to pay bills of electricity, water and WiFi monthly (Approximately US$30
per month) directly or deducted by the employers from the monthly salary if
staying in employers accommodation.
