Alaska Academy is seeking dynamic and dedicated Native Science Teachers to join our international faculty in Cau Giay, Hanoi. We look for educators who can transform complex scientific concepts into engaging, hands-on learning experiences for our students.

 1. Key Responsibilities

• Instructional Excellence: Deliver high-quality, inquiry-based Science lessons to students (ranging from Grade 5 to Grade 7).
• Curriculum Development: Independently design and develop comprehensive lesson plans based on the school's core curriculum, incorporating experiments and practical activities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Vietnamese co-teachers to ensure smooth classroom management and student support.
• Assessment & Reporting: Complete detailed semester reports and maintain regular, professional communication with parents regarding student academic progress and behavior.
• Student Engagement: Tailor teaching methods to meet diverse student interests and learning styles, fostering a genuine curiosity for the natural world.

2. Candidate Requirements

• Nationality: Native English speakers (US, UK, Ireland, South Africa, AU, NZ, or Canada) – Required for Work Permit compliance.
• Education:  Bachelor's degree in Education/Science Or A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years of verifiable international teaching experience.
• Certification: Valid TEFL / TESOL / CELTA certificate.
• Traits: A passion for STEM education and working with children.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to adapt curriculum to local contexts while maintaining international standards.

3. Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: $2,100 – $2,300 USD (based on qualifications and experience).
• Working Hours: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM).
