Senior D365 POS Technical Developer

 Job Description:

Purpose: Develop, test, and deploy customizations for Microsoft Dynamics D365 as well as provide technical support for the existing installation.

Key Role/Responsibilities:

  • Develop Microsoft Dynamics D365 customizations based on specifications provided by functional and technical consultants
  • Integrate with various external systems
  • Support the existing software ecosystem by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues reported by the users
  • Monitor and improve the performance of various components of the existing software ecosystem

Functional & Technical Competencies:

  • Experience integrating to and from D365FO
  • Development and customization experience in D365FO
  • Experience testing and debugging performance issues in D365FO environments using SQL trace parsers, debugger, evaluating performance counters and SQL DMVs, etc.
  • Experience in applying customizations and hot fixes to D365FO
  • System administrative experience
  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services, replication of OLAP data, and data warehousing.
  • Experience with D365FO Workflow
  • Experience with D365FO BI integration
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication skills (presenting to and supporting customers)
  • Ability to work alone or within a team
  • Ability to manage BYOD
  • Ability to write SQL procedures and Functions
  • Ability to use DMF including recurring integrations
  • Azure Dev-Ops knowledge with Git and TFVC
  • Ability to consume third-party APIs from within D365FO

Minimum Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience as Microsoft Dynamics D365 technical specialist.
  • 3+ years of experience Dynamics 365 Retail.

Minimum Qualifications/education

  • Bachelor or Masters in Business or IT
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX Installation & Configuration Certification
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX Development Certification
  • Microsoft SQL Database Administration Certification is a plus
