Were searching for a strategic, hands-on Director of Accounting to lead all core accounting operations and partner closely with the CFO on financial strategy, planning, and execution. What Youll Do

• Lead all accounting functions, including financial reporting, forecasting, and day-to-day operations
• Own the treasury function, ensuring efficient funding and capital management
• Partner with auditors and external advisors to deliver timely, compliant reporting
• Drive improvements across financial systems, tools, and processes
• Collaborate with executives to shape long-term financial strategies and business plans
• Deliver clear, data-driven insights to senior leadership and the Board
• Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team

What You Bring

• 8+ years in accounting/finance, ideally with a mix of public and private experience
• CPA required, with proven leadership of accounting operations
• Experience in financial services, lending, or fintech a strong advantage
• Strong analytical mindset, proficiency in ERP/reporting systems
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills you translate numbers into strategy
• Humble, collaborative, low-ego leadership style
