They are seeking a Junior Associate Adviser to join their Auckland team. This opportunity is ideal for someone in the early stages of their advisory career who is keen to build strong technical foundations while learning directly from experienced advisers.
You will support senior advisers in delivering high-quality client outcomes while developing the capability to take on greater advisory responsibility over time. This is a structured pathway role with clear progression into full advisory capacity as experience and confidence grow.
The Role
As a Junior Associate Adviser, you will play a key support role within the advisory team, contributing to portfolio management, client servicing, and regulatory compliance. Over time, you will gain increasing exposure to client engagement and investment decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Support senior advisers with portfolio reviews, client reporting, and preparation of investment proposals

Assist with the preparation of advice documentation and ensure all material aligns with regulatory requirements

Attend client meetings alongside advisers, taking notes and supporting follow-up actions

Liaise with administration and investment teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and ongoing service delivery

Conduct market and product research to support investment recommendations

Maintain accurate client records and ensure documentation meets compliance standards

Represent the business professionally in all client and external interactions
What Youll Bring

A genuine interest in financial markets and long-term wealth management

1–3 years of experience in banking, financial services, investment operations, or an associate support role

About You
You may currently be working in a banking support role, investment operations, paraplanning, or as a junior associate within a wealth or advisory firm. You are technically capable, commercially aware, and motivated to grow into a fully authorised Investment Adviser over time.
You value structure, mentorship, and a clear development pathway. You are prepared to build your expertise step-by-step, earning increased client exposure and responsibility as your experience and capability develop.
