The Opportunity
A high-growth, professional financial services business is seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant/Office Manager to support its Managing Director and wider leadership team. This isn't your typical support role, it's a high-trust, high-impact position at the centre of the business, blending Executive Assistant, Office Manager, and People & Operations responsibilities.
You will be the person who keeps the engine running: proactively managing the MDs time, coordinating leadership priorities, liaising with stakeholders for board reporting, and ensuring the office runs like clockwork.
Confidentiality is critical—you will be a trusted right hand, working closely with the Head of People & Operations, and interacting daily with internal and external stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support

Own and manage the MDs diary with foresight and precision

Anticipate needs and keep the MD focused on what matters most

Coordinate priorities and prepare for meetings well in advance

Actively manage up—helping leadership stay organised, aligned, and high-performing
Workplace Experience & Office Management

Be the face and custodian of a professional, welcoming office environment

Oversee all things workplace: from technology to suppliers to systems

Keep the physical office humming and support a high-performing workplace culture

Be willing to roll up your sleeves and support wherever needed
People & Operations

Support recruitment and onboarding processes alongside the People team

Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather input for board packs and leadership reporting

Coordinate people, process, and productivity initiatives that improve the day-to-day

Ensure consistent, efficient operational support across the business
Communication & Coordination

Act as the bridge between leadership and the wider business

Turn fast-moving plans into structured, actionable items

Assist with preparing polished board reports, presentations, and internal comms
About You

Proven experience in an EA, Office Manager, or Executive Coordinator role

Background in financial services, banking, insurance, or a regulated environment

A master of confidentiality, with strong stakeholder instincts

Proactive, intuitive, and solutions-focused

A true organiser with a calm, composed approach under pressure

Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Calendar, Docs, Drive, etc.) is essential—this is a non-negotiable
