About the Role

We are seeking a Front Office Production Support Analyst to join a high-performing Equities technology team within a leading global investment bank. This role sits directly on the trading floor and provides hands-on support to Front Office users across Equities Trading, Sales, and related business functions.

You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of front-office systems, managing real-time issues, and working closely with traders to troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional problems. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives in a high-pressure environment and has strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time technical and functional support to Equities Trading and Sales teams.
  • Monitor front-office applications, pricing engines, and market connectivity to ensure system stability.
  • Respond quickly to incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes or workarounds.
  • Manage system outages, escalating to development and infrastructure teams when required.
  • Support daily trading activities including start-of-day checks, end-of-day processes, and trade flow monitoring.
  • Liaise with global support teams to ensure consistent, follow-the-sun coverage.
  • Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases for support processes.
  • Work closely with developers to contribute to system improvements and automation initiatives.

Skills & Experience

Required:

  • 3-10 years experience in Production Support, Application Support, or Trading Support within an Investment Bank or financial markets environment.
  • Strong understanding of Equities products and trade lifecycle flows. 
  • Experience supporting front-office systems and traders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with scripting and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Python, Shell, SQL).
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with market data, FIX connectivity, or OMS/EMS platforms.
  • Exposure to automation or monitoring tools (e.g., Geneos, Kafka, AppDynamics, Splunk).
  • Experience working on a trading floor or supporting high-frequency trading environments.
