Research Analyst (Mining & Natural Resources)

We are supporting this leading boutique financial services firm who specialise in providing investment, corporate advisory, M&A and wealth management solutions.

Working closely with the highly experienced Executive and Research team, you will be involved in small-cap and mid-cap research and bespoke strategic assignments spanning the mining and natural resource sectors.

To be considered for this position, candidates require 1-4 years of experience gained from a similar investment bank / corporate advisory group, mining corporate development team, equities research team or Big Four accounting firm.

Role responsibilities:

• Financial Modelling & Analysis: Conduct forecasting, provide data insights, and support research.
• Report Compilation: Prepare detailed commentary, investment research, and results summaries.
• Client Interaction: Act as the main client contact, ensuring strong client relationships and proactive responses.
• Communication with other advisors (legal, accounting) and clients

Candidates will be considered from:

• Investment banks - Bulge bracket or boutique
• Big four accounting firms - Valuations and/or Business Modelling
• Equities research - mining experience required

What we are looking for:

• Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; CFA or CA accreditation preferred.
• Experience: Solid background in financial modelling and investment research
• Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, strong presentation skills, and a proactive, client-focused approach.
