Our client, a fast-growing fintech disrupting the FX space, is seeking an experienced FX Dealer to manage FX & Payments.

Key Responsibilities

FX Execution & Client Dealing

  • Quote, execute, and settle spot, forward, and same-day FX transactions for clients. (Derivatives to be introduced within 12 months.)

  • Provide real-time pricing across major and minor currency pairs, ensuring competitive spreads and market consistency.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with liquidity providers to optimise execution and reduce slippage.

  • Execute all client trades via internal dealing systems and bank counterparties.

  • Manage client requests efficiently including rate negotiation, bulk transfers, and same-day settlements.

Client Coverage & Relationship Growth

  • Cover a portfolio of high-value advisers, brokers, and corporate clients for daily FX needs.

  • Develop new client relationships through existing business channels and partnerships.

  • Educate and guide clients on FX hedging, settlement workflows, and rate structures.

  • Support onboarding of large corporate or institutional clients with tailored FX and payment requirements.

Commercial & Revenue Accountability

  • Contribute directly to FX revenue by executing profitable flow and maximising volume.

  • Support rate card and spread management strategy to balance competitiveness and margin.

  • Track performance against daily and monthly dealing P&L targets.

  • Collaborate with Product and Analytics teams to design new FX revenue initiatives and rate-optimisation models.

Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years experience as an FX Dealer or Foreign Exchange Salesperson within a bank, wealth platform, or broker.

  • Proven ability to generate and manage client FX flow (spot, forward, and swaps).

  • Deep understanding of global currency markets and liquidity management.

  • Established relationships across institutional, adviser, and corporate FX channels.

  • High energy, commercially driven, and confident communicator under pressure.

  • Familiar with trading tools and dealing-room environments.
