The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven and proactive Business Development Associate to join the commercial team. This role will focus on identifying and developing new corporate partnerships, securing long-term business, and driving revenue growth.

The position will suit a confident sales professional with strong relationship-building skills, a commercial mindset, and a passion for creating opportunities. Occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect and convert new business opportunities through a range of sales methods.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract agreement and client handover.
  • Support tenders and proposals, ensuring professional and timely submissions.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and secure agreements that drive growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximise opportunities and ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities and market activity.
  • Stay across industry trends and developments to uncover new opportunities.

About You

  • Previous experience in business development or sales, ideally in a service-driven industry.
  • Proven ability to source, build and convert a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commercially minded, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience in accommodation, travel or related industries (Highly Regarded)
