The Trade Reporting team is responsible for OTC derivatives transaction reporting across ASIC, CFTC and CSA, covering cleared rates products and equity derivatives. The Senior Analyst will own end-to-end reporting deliverables across one or more asset classes or jurisdictions and contribute to a growing programme of regulatory change
This position sits across Operations, Regulatory Change and Technology, making it ideal for someone who enjoys complex trade lifecycle environments, regulatory interpretation and process optimisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing daily and end-of-day OTC derivatives trade reporting activities across global regulatory frameworks
- Investigating reporting exceptions, reconciliations and NACK breaks across trade repositories and vendor platforms
- Supporting regulatory change initiatives, implementation projects and reporting enhancements
- Interpreting technical specifications, validation rules and reporting requirements to improve operational processes
- Driving automation, controls enhancement and workflow efficiencies across the reporting function
- Partnering closely with Front Office, Compliance, Technology, external vendors and regulatory stakeholders
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Strong OTC derivatives product knowledge — ideally across rates and equity products
- Experience with ASIC reporting obligations, with broader global regulatory reporting exposure highly regarded
- Exposure to DTCC GTR, Broadridge, MarkitWire or similar reporting platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with advanced Excel skills; SQL/Python exposure advantageous
- The ability to work across technical, operational and regulatory stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
