Group Strategy - Senior Manager / Financial Services

About the Role:

• Based in Sydney, this role positions you at the forefront of the organisation's most critical strategic priorities. You'll help steer major initiatives across growth strategy, corporate development, business development, operating model evolution, and a range of unique, high-impact strategic challenges.
• You'll work closely with senior leaders to deliver rigorous strategic assessments and provide well-considered recommendations across diverse projects, shaping meaningful outcomes. 

What You Bring:

• Tertiary qualifications from a recognised university with strong academic performance (a finance or commerce background is advantageous)
• 5-7+ years of professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in top-tier strategy consulting. 
• The capability to independently produce high-quality qualitative and quantitative analysis
• A proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and support the development of junior team members to achieve strong results
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, structured problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex client needs into practical, commercially viable solutions
• A genuine interest in emerging market trends, the financial services ecosystem, value creation, and an entrepreneurial approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities; familiarity with AI strategy or agile organisational practices is a plus
• A collaborative mindset, strong motivation, and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders (including C-suite and functional leaders), along with the adaptability to thrive in changing environments
