Position: Human Resource Clerk
Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks
- Maintain and update employee records and files, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations
- Process new employee onboarding, including completing paperwork, conducting orientation, and setting up employee profiles in HR systems
- Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as offer letters, contracts, and policies
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide general support to HR team members
- Coordinate employee training and development programs
- Assist with performance management processes, including tracking performance reviews and providing support to managers and employees
- Maintain and update HR databases and systems
- Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate records of employee time off and attendance
- Other duties as assigned by the HR Manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a human resource role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS systems
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time, remote position with flexible working hours. The Human Resource Clerk will work from their own home office and must have a reliable internet connection. Occasional travel may be required for company events or training.
