Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage all aspects of payroll for our employees, including data entry, timesheet review, and payroll adjustments
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, including taxes, deductions, and other withholdings
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and other departments as needed
- Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee data
- Stay up-to-date on federal and state payroll laws and regulations
- Assist with year-end payroll tasks and reporting
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with payroll software (ADP, Paychex, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with multi-state payroll is a plus
