Bank Teller Intern

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Bank Teller Intern to join our team. As a Bank Teller Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in customer service and banking operations while supporting our team with daily transactions and account services. Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries

• Process cash and check transactions accurately and efficiently

• Balance cash drawers and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded

• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues

• Issue account statements, checkbooks, and other banking products

• Support branch staff with administrative tasks and clerical work as needed

• Ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures

• Handle and safeguard customer information with confidentiality

• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming branch environment

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 (a relevant qualification in banking or finance is a plus)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly

• Customer-focused attitude and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work well in a team and independently

• Basic computer skills (MS Office)

• Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and multitask
