Position: Invoicing & Billing Clerk
Water Tower Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Invoicing & Billing Clerk. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and process accurate and timely invoices for clients
- Verify billing data and make necessary adjustments
- Review and resolve any discrepancies in billing
- Maintain and update customer billing information
- Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and issues
- Prepare and submit billing reports to management
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing
- Keep track of accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Maintain organized and accurate billing records
- Other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in invoicing and billing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus
