Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and organized Project Administrator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects. The successful candidate will assist project managers in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves maintaining project documentation, tracking progress, and facilitating communication between stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Maintain and update project documentation, including reports, schedules, and risk registers.
Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes.
Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion.
Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Support budget tracking and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims.
Ensure compliance with company policies and South African labor and project management regulations.
Minimum Requirements
Educational Qualifications
South African High School Qualification: National Senior Certificate (Matric/Grade 12) with passes in Mathematics and English.
Tertiary Qualification (Advantageous):
National Certificate Vocational (NCV) Level 4 in Office Administration or Project Management from an accredited TVET College.
OR National Diploma (N4-N6) in Business Management, Office Administration, or Project Management from a TVET College.
OR Diploma/Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized university.
Experience and Skills
0-2 years of experience in project administration, office administration, or a related role (experience in a TVET or project-based environment is an advantage).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, or Asana is advantageous).
Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of South African tax laws and compliance (e.g., PAYE, UIF, SDL) is a plus.
Additional Requirements
Valid South African drivers license (Code 8) is an advantage.
Ability to undergo vetting processes (citizenship, criminal checks, qualification verification).
