We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Company Secretary to ensure our company complies with statutory and regulatory requirements. If you have a strong understanding of corporate governance and thrive in a structured, deadline-driven environment, wed love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations (e.g. Companies Act)

  • Maintain statutory registers and records

  • Prepare and file annual returns and other regulatory documents

  • Arrange and coordinate board meetings, AGMs, and committee meetings

  • Draft and circulate agendas, minutes, resolutions, and other corporate documents

  • Advise the board on corporate governance best practices

  • Act as the liaison between the board, shareholders, and regulatory bodies

  • Support directors with governance obligations and training

  • Monitor and manage company policies and procedures

  • Safeguard corporate records and legal documents

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Corporate Governance, or related field

  • Chartered Secretary (CGISA/ICSA) qualification is highly advantageous

  • 3+ years experience in a company secretarial or corporate governance role

  • Strong knowledge of the Companies Act and other corporate legislation

  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
