Product Engineer

We are looking for a Product Engineer to design and scale the SDKs and product surfaces powering a seamless Checkout experience across both web2 and web3 environments.

This role sits at the intersection of product and engineering, requiring a strong sense of ownership over user-facing experiences and developer integrations. You will work closely with protocol and backend teams to simplify complex onchain payment flows into intuitive, high-performance products for dApps and financial platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain SDKs and UI components that embed the Checkout product into web2 and web3 applications.
• Develop high-performance, reliable, and intuitive payment experiences across the stack (front-end focused, full-stack capable).
• Collaborate closely with protocol and backend teams to integrate complex payment, routing, and identity flows into simple APIs and user experiences.
• Own features end-to-end: from scoping and implementation to testing, deployment, and iteration based on product and user feedback.
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, technical design discussions, and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Continuously optimize performance, scalability, and user experience across all product surfaces.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong experience building modern React-based applications.
• Solid understanding of full-stack development, including client-side performance, state management, and API integrations.
• Proven track record of owning and shipping user-facing features or products, ideally in payments, fintech, or high-scale transactional environments.
• Strong communication skills in English (primary working language).
  

Nice to Have:

• Strong computer science fundamentals with the ability to reason about performance, correctness, and trade-offs.
• Experience with blockchain technologies, EVM-compatible networks, or onchain payments / DeFi.
• Background in building SDKs, developer tools, or complex integrations with third-party APIs.
• Experience in high-scale fintech or consumer products (e.g., trading platforms, wallets, neobanks).
• Evidence of exceptional achievement in any domain (e.g., open-source contributions, competitive programming, athletics).
