Sales Account Manager

Are you passionate about driving business growth and building strong client relationships in the energy and power infrastructure sector? We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join a fast-growing team focused on delivering high-quality transformer and substation equipment across North America.

You'll take ownership of developing and maintaining client relationships, implementing sales strategies, and expanding the customer base, working closely with leadership to achieve ambitious commercial goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets and grow

  customer base.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
• Build and manage relationships with new and existing clients across North America.

• Collaborate with leadership to define sales quotas and strategies.

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.

• Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize sales revenue.

• Ensure client retention through dedicated customer support.

• Stay updated on industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• College or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

• 35 years proven sales experience in the electrical equipment sector, ideally in transformers.
• Willingness to travel throughout US and Canada for client visits and trade shows.

• Excellent account management and relationship-building skills.

• Experience in market research, competitor analysis, and sales strategy

  development. 

• Understanding of power distribution and energy industry trends is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• High self-motivation and desire for continuous improvement.

Nice to Have

• Record of sales leadership experience.

• Experience negotiating large-scale commercial contracts.
