Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy highly secure web applications that meet client requirements.
• Utilize your experience with core AWS web-enabling technologies to architect and implement scalable and reliable backend solutions.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs, focusing on efficient communication with mobile applications.
• Implement robust security measures and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of web applications.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend systems to identify and fix any issues or vulnerabilities.
• Optimize application performance by fine-tuning database queries, improving caching mechanisms, and implementing appropriate indexing strategies.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously enhance the development process.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with the backend, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal user experience.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in developing highly secure web applications with a focus on backend development.
• Strong experience with core AWS web-enabling technologies, including but not limited to AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and EC2.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, specifically for mobile app integration.
• A growth mindset that encourages innovation, challenges the status quo, and promotes outside-the-box thinking.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL, and familiarity with data modeling concepts.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, as well as experience implementing secure API endpoints.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
