We are now seeking an astute Financial Reporting leader to spearhead the function and manage a team of 3 experts in this area.

Key duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly closing process and ensure timely financial results
  • Manage accounting and financial data for change control and setup in SAP
  • Keep the Chart of Accounts up to date
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations for local reporting and IFRS for group reporting
  • Check intercompany balances and transactions before submission to the Group
  • Verify accruals in the current and operational layers, as well as reconciliations
  • Approve direct journal vouchers posted in HFM
  • Review data uploads in HFM for month-end closing
  • Reconcile AX2012/SAP with HFM on a monthly basis
  • Examine commentary on the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss
  • Review quarterly contingent liabilities and subsequent events
  • Prepare and submit the annual financial package to the group finance team
  • Coordinate the year-end audit with auditors and cross-functional teams
  • Submit the annual local statutory report to the Ministry of Commerce (MOC)
  • Drive process efficiency and change initiatives across all stakeholders

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years in audit/ F&A Business Process Consulting
  • Possess CPA Qualification
  • Experience in Big 4 or Consulting firm providing F&A Solutions/Audit Service
  • 10 years working experience including working in a financial management position for a reputable organization
  • Ability to connect & negotiate internal stakeholders
  • Displays strong logical approach to problem solving, particularly when solving new challenges outside of normal work scope
  • Possess international mindset and able to work within a diverse environment
  • Strong English speaking & writing skills
  • Able to pull together sophisticated materials & present to group level
