Role Overview: As a Financial & Tax Specialist, you will need to support the team and various stakeholders, including audits, tax compliance, BOI, etc., to ensure the smooth operation of the accounting process.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounting: Prepare accounting information and post accounting journals. Perform monthly and quarterly closings and provide supporting schedules for period and year-end closings
  • Analyzing: Conduct Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations and Fluctuation analyses, requiring a deep understanding of accounting principles
  • Reporting: Handle Corporate and Statutory Compliance reporting, utilizing presentation skills
  • Maintaining: Monitor internal controls (SOX compliance) and maintain process documentation to ensure financial security
  • Problem-solving: Assist in resolving issues related to accounting, business processes, and Thai GAAP
  • Supporting: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal and external audits, as well as other third parties affecting financial processes and the organization in terms of Financial and Tax matters

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounting and Tax functions
  • Experience in Tax Consultancy or Audit firms is a significant advantage
  • Proficiency in Thailand's Corporate Tax and Indirect Tax Compliance
  • Proficiency in English written communication
  • Knowledge of Thai GAAP and accounting interpretation
  • FP&A knowledge and familiarity with accounting and finance ERP systems are advantageous
  • Open to relocation is a must**
