About the job OPERATIONS & EXECUTIVE COORDINATOR
An Operations & Executive Coordinator is needed to join The Legal Director, a scaling professional services firm entering its next phase of structured growth. Working directly with the CEO and COO, this is a high impact role designed to bring clarity, pace and follow through to a fast moving, founder led environment.
This is not a traditional Executive Assistant position. It sits at the centre of the business, bridging big picture strategy and day to day execution. You will act as the connective tissue between leadership decisions and real world delivery, ensuring priorities are translated into structured actions and measurable progress.
The Legal Director is strengthening its operational cadence as it scales. You will play a central role in supporting the rollout of a recognised operating framework, helping embed meeting rhythm, accountability and execution discipline across the business. Prior exposure to EOS is advantageous but not essential. What matters most is your ability to turn ideas into outcomes.
This is a founder support and business execution role in the truest sense. You will reduce operational friction, improve visibility, drive projects forward and ensure key initiatives move without friction and constant intervention. In short, this translates to sitting at the top table where decisions are made and making sure they happen.
What you will be doing week to week:
- Supporting leadership meeting cadence, capturing actions and ensuring follow-through
- Coordinating cross-functional initiatives across sales, marketing and operations
- Tracking priorities, deadlines and project progress to maintain momentum
- Assisting with commercial activity such as campaign coordination, proposal preparation and pipeline visibility
- Creating simple plans, trackers and communications that bring structure to fast moving workstreams
To qualify: You might currently be operating as a Senior Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, Founder Associate, Operations Coordinator, Business Operations Manager or Project Lead within a high growth or scale up environment, either way your CV should demonstrate:
- Experience supporting senior leaders in a fast paced, entrepreneurial business
- A track record of bringing structure to ambiguity and delivering against messy briefs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using tools such as Microsoft 365 (and ideally CRM systems, Canva, process mapping tools and Hubspot)
- Confidence coordinating across multiple stakeholders and functions
- The ability to manage competing priorities without close supervision
- A proactive mindset with high ownership and follow through
You should also be the type of person who is:
- Comfortable working with a high-energy, fast-thinking leadership style. Able to capture evolving ideas in real time, bring structure and prioritisation, and maintain focus without losing pace or intent.
- Willing and able to challenge constructively, asking difficult questions, clarifying priorities and holding leadership to agreed actions and standards.
- Highly outcome-focused. You measure success by what gets completed and not by activity or effort.
- Able to proactively simplify or improve processes to remove friction at source.
- High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal presence. Able to build trust quickly, influence without authority, and operate effectively across different working styles and personalities.
- Comfortable operating at pace where priorities evolve and not everything is fully defined. Able to maintain clarity and momentum without needing perfect information.
Experience within professional services is helpful as is exposure to the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) or other structured operating frameworks but can be learned in role.
In return, you will join an ambitious, growing firm where your impact will be visible across the entire organisation. Expect a salary of £60k to £80k (depending on experience), remote flexibility with regular in person collaboration in London, and genuine scope to evolve into a broader operations or integrator style leadership role as the business scales.
Please note, this is a remote role, ideally suited to someone based in Kent or the South East, with around one day per week in London working closely with the CEO.
