About the job INSURANCE OPERATION MANAGER
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Insurance Operations Manager to join our growing team. This pivotal role will be responsible for leading our Account Management team, driving operational efficiencies, and playing a key role in the development and enhancement of our MGA2 system. The ideal candidate will bring robust workers' compensation insurance experience and a proven track record of process improvement and team leadership.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the daily activities of the Account Management and Account Executive teams, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the department.
Serve as a key stakeholder and subject matter expert in the creation, development, and ongoing enhancement of our MGA2 system, ensuring it aligns with business needs and operational workflows.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflows related to workers' compensation policy administration, claims processing, and client servicing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, IT, and sales, to ensure seamless operations and achievement of company objectives.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) ftions as needed.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies within all operational processes and system functionalities.
Required Experience
A minimum of 6+ years of experience in insuror the operations team, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective acance operations, with a significant focus on workers' compensation.
Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams, including Account Managers and/or Account Executives.
Proven ability to identify, create, and implement process efficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong experience with insurance management systems; heavy involvement in the creation, development, or enhancement of an MGA or similar insurance platform is essential.
In-depth knowledge of workers' compensation insurance principles, practices, and regulatory environment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
Ability to work remotely and effectively.
Nice-to-have
Formal project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP).
Experience working in a fast-paced Insurtech or startup environment.
Advanced proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools.
Compensation: We re committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000. Compensation is determined within the range based on your qualifications and experience. Our total compensation package also includes equity and comprehensive benefits.
