About the Role:
As a Remote Solution Architect at WeCare Medical Specialty Group, you will be responsible for defining the architectural vision and blueprint for our technology landscape. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments, including IT, clinical operations, finance, and administration, to understand their needs and translate them into practical and innovative technical solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding the selection of technologies, ensuring interoperability between systems, and maintaining the integrity and security of our data and applications. This is a strategic role that requires a strong blend of technical depth, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Architecture: Develop comprehensive and well-documented solution architectures that address business requirements, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, cost-effectiveness, and maintainability.
- Technology Strategy and Roadmap: Contribute to the development of our technology strategy and roadmap, identifying emerging technologies and trends that can benefit the organization.
- System Integration: Design and oversee the integration of various healthcare systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability (e.g., EHR/EMR systems, practice management software, CRM, analytics platforms).
- Platform Selection: Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, tools, and vendors based on technical requirements, cost analysis, and alignment with our architectural principles.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that all proposed solutions adhere to relevant healthcare industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and security best practices.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams and other IT personnel during the implementation and deployment phases.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Effectively communicate architectural designs and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building consensus and managing expectations.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential technical risks associated with proposed solutions and develop mitigation strategies.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural diagrams, specifications, and other relevant documentation.
- Staying Current: Continuously research and learn about new technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Problem Solving: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and problem-solving support for complex technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Citizenship or Work Permit: Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit that authorizes employment in the United States.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a Solution Architect role or similar capacity.
