WellTech Partners is proud to partner with a 24-hour rehabilitation center in beautiful Santa Monica to find an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team.

About the Role
We are seeking a full-time RN with a flexible schedule to work the 3:00 pm 11:00 pm shift. In this role, you will provide critical leadership and clinical support to staff and patients during the evening hours.



Key Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision & Support

• Provide direct supervision and oversight to Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) during the 3-11 PM shift
• Ensure that all team members follow clinical procedures, resident care plans, and facility protocols
• Assist with training, coaching, and mentoring of new and current staff members
• Support shift handoff by ensuring clear and timely communication with incoming/outgoing nursing staff

Clinical Care Management

• Administer IV therapies, injections, and medications in accordance with physician orders and state regulations
• Conduct and document resident assessments, especially during new admissions
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify the physician, family, and other relevant parties as needed
• Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies or urgent resident needs
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

Communication & Coordination

• Act as the point of contact for clinical concerns during the shift
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and administrative team regarding patient care updates, staffing concerns, and safety issues
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and support efforts to improve resident outcomes
• Ensure compliance with infection control, medication safety, and patient rights policies

Quality & Safety Compliance

• Conduct regular rounds to ensure the health, safety, and comfort of residents
• Assist in monitoring facility compliance with state, federal, and company regulations
• Document incidents, errors, and safety concerns and participate in root cause analysis if needed
• Promote a culture of accountability, compassion, and professionalism among care teams

Qualifications:

• Active and California RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or acute care setting preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience highly desirable
• Strong clinical knowledge with experience in IV therapy, medication administration, and patient assessments
• Proficient in using EMRs and confident in clinical documentation
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate and committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care

Reporting & Oversight

• This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing.
• Candidates will interview with the DON.
