Radiologic Technologist Lead Full-Time (Days)

About the Role
WellTech Partners is working with a healthcare facility in Porterville, CA that is seeking a skilled and motivated Radiologic Technologist Lead to oversee daily operations within their Imaging Department. This leadership position provides the opportunity to combine hands-on diagnostic radiology expertise with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and departmental efficiency.
The Radiologic Technologist Lead will work closely with the Administrative Director of Imaging/Physical Therapy, Radiology Manager, and Medical Director to guide technologists, coordinate workflow, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities

Perform all functions of a Radiology Technologist while leading and mentoring staff.

Supervise daily activities of technologists, including scheduling, assignments, and on-call rotations.

Serve as a technical resource for imaging techniques, positioning, and equipment usage.

Coordinate maintenance, service, and supply management for radiology equipment.

Maintain high-quality imaging standards and ensure accurate, timely patient care.

Stay current on advancements in radiographic procedures and recommend improvements.

Uphold safety protocols, infection prevention practices, and departmental compliance with governing agencies.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:

Associate's Degree in Health Science, Business, or related field (required).

Minimum 1 year of radiography experience, including supervisory or lead experience (preferred).

Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.

Computer proficiency in radiology applications and business software.
Licenses & Certifications:

California Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (required).

Fluoroscopy Permit (required).

ARRT Certification (required).

BLS Certification (required, or obtained during orientation).

IV certification (preferred).
