ICU RN Position

Overview
WellTech Partners has partnered with a hospital in Iowa that is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join their ICU/ARU. You will work under the supervision of the Director and provide high-quality care to acutely ill patients, performing assessments, implementing care plans, and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.

Bonus:
$15,000 offered for a 2 year commitment 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical and psychosocial patient assessments.

• Develop, update, and individualize nursing care plans.

• Implement physician orders and document care accurately.

• Administer medications in compliance with the 10 Rights.

• Participate in mandatory in-services, competencies, and continuing education.

• Contribute to unit goals, quality improvement initiatives, and team development.

• Maintain safe, flexible, and professional nursing practice in accordance with Iowa Board of Nursing regulations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

• Current RN license in Iowa or multistate license with Iowa eligibility.

• Current BCLS certification.

• Iowa Mandatory Reporter (Child and Dependent Adult Abuse).

• ACLS and Progressive Care RN Certification preferred.

• Dysrhythmia course or written competency required within 6 months of hire.

• Prior Telemetry or Progressive Care experience preferred but not required.
