Physical Therapist – Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic | Phoenix Metro & Yuma, AZ

We are partnering with a well-established, growing private practice outpatient physical therapy group across 9 clinic locations (7 in the Phoenix/Metro area, 2 in Yuma) to find passionate and driven Physical Therapists to join their team. Position Details

  • Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic / Private Practice
  • Patient Population: Adult & Mixed/Age-Diverse
  • Schedule: Full-Time | Part-Time | PRN/Per Diem — Flexible
  • Assignment Type: Permanent | Temp-to-Hire
  • Location: Multiple locations across Phoenix/Metro Area & Yuma, AZ
  • Salary: $80,000 – $95,000/year (based on experience, credentials & leadership role)
  • Start Date: Flexible — sooner preferred

About the Role

You'll be joining a thriving multi-site practice with a team of 30+ therapists across 9 clinics, built on a foundation of teamwork, mentorship, and clinical excellence. The practice serves a primarily insurance-based patient base with a growing cash-pay component. You will manage an average caseload of 8–12 patients per day (depending on clinic, experience level, and season), supported by a team of aides and techs with BA degrees handling therapeutic exercises so you can focus on skilled care.

Documentation is streamlined with Clinicient / InsightGo EMR, enhanced by Comprehend PT AI Scribe — making charting faster and more efficient so you can focus on what matters most: your patients.

New Grads & Returning Clinicians Welcome

The practice offers an "Ease Into Practice" mentorship program — a structured ramp-up designed for new graduates and clinicians returning to the field. You'll start at a manageable caseload of 8 patients/day, gradually increasing over 3–5 months, supported by mentors including retired therapists doing PRN work. Guidance, coaching, and clinical supervision are provided throughout, while each clinician retains full professional autonomy over their own career pathway.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat adult and mixed-age outpatient orthopedic patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with a functional, hands-on approach
  • Supervise and collaborate with PTAs, aides, and support staff as needed
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Clinicient/InsightGo with AI Scribe support
  • Build strong therapeutic rapport and lasting patient relationships
  • Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and mentorship activities

Preferred Skills & Specializations

All experience levels are welcome. The following specializations are valued — and if you don't have them yet, the practice will support you in pursuing them:

  • Orthopedic PT / OCS certification
  • Manual Therapy
  • Vestibular Rehabilitation
  • Trigger Point Dry Needling

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $80,000 – $95,000/year (flexible based on experience, credentials & leadership)
  • Sign-on bonus: $2,500 – $5,000 (depending on factors; higher for Yuma locations)
