  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

Highly Desirable

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Consultant certification.
  • Experience in scaling marketing operations and creating documentation/playbooks.
  • Knowledge of Marketo or Marketing Automation tools

About The Role We're seeking a Senior Email Marketing Manager to take ownership of our email strategy and play a pivotal role in developing both our marketing outcomes and our people. As the go-to expert in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), you'll lead the design and execution of sophisticated campaigns while mentoring and training a growing team of marketing specialists.

You'll combine strategy with execution: driving lead generation, optimising customer journeys, and enabling team members to grow their skills and confidence in SFMC. This role requires someone who can balance leadership, technical expertise, and coaching to elevate both the function and the people within it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Campaign Leadership: Own the email marketing roadmap—designing and delivering multi-touch, multi-channel campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and revenue growth.
  • Mentorship & Training: Act as a trainer for the team members—building capability in SFMC, campaign execution with Journey Builder, and email marketing best practices. Establish documentation, playbooks, and training resources to ensure continuous team development.
  • Lead Nurture & Journey Optimisation: Architect advanced nurture streams and automated journeys that guide prospects through the funnel and deepen customer relationships.
  • Performance Optimisation: Champion a culture of experimentation—leading A/B testing, data-driven optimisation, and continuous improvement across all campaigns.
  • Audience Personalisation at Scale: Leverage segmentation, dynamic content, and data insights to deliver personalised, impactful communications.
  • Compliance & Deliverability: Ensure all campaigns meet best practices and regulatory standards (Spam Act, Privacy Act, and Australian Consumer Law), safeguarding brand reputation and inbox placement.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Management: Translate data into insights—presenting performance outcomes and recommendations to senior stakeholders and influencing wider digital marketing strategy.
